Topkwaliteit softpastels met hoge helderheid uit Frankrijk. De consistentie is iets gladder dan die van de wat drogere Unison-zachte pastelkrijtjes. Maar omdat ze een heel ander kleurenpalet hebben, kunnen ze in combinatie worden gebruikt.
Deze extra soft pastels van Sennelier zijn aan het eind van de 19de eeuw ontwikkelt door Gustave Sennelier. Sennelier pastels worden nog steeds volgens traditionele wijze handmatig gemaakt met extreem pure geselecteerde pigmenten en een natuurlijk bindmiddel. Het resultaat is een prachtig, zachte en pastel met een exceptioneel hoge intensiteit en lichtechtheid. De Sennelier pastel a L'Ecu range bestaat uit 525 kleuren.
Sennelier ontwikkelde zijn pastels aan het begin van de 20e eeuw , en was heel lang de leverancier van de Franse impressionisten. Zo heeft Degas heeft zijn beroemde tekeningen van balletdanseresjes met deze pastels gemaakt.

Top quality soft pastels with high brightness from France. The consistency is a bit smoother than that of the somewhat drier Unison soft pastels. But because they have a completely different color palette, they can be used in combination.
