Deze set is gebaseerd op de stijl en kleurenpalet van Katsushika Hokusai en bevat:

- 4 nappen Gansai Tambi aquarelverf in de kleuren Cadmium Scarlet, Yellow Ochre, Viridian, and Raw Umber Deep.

De set is geinspireerd door Katsushika Hokusai's "Thirty-six Views of Montain. In Europa is dit geen bekend kunstwerk, maar liefhebbers van Japanse kunst zullen deze berg zeker herkennen.
Katsushika Hokusai was een Japanse prentkunstenaar, schilder en tekenaar in de 18de eeuw.. Hij hield zich vooral bezig met het maken van houtsnedeprenten, beter bekend als ukiyo-e. Hokusai werd vooral beroemd door zijn landschapsafbeeldingen.

Kuretake has released the "Historic Art Collection" series, which challenges you to create a work of art based on one of the great masters of art history using just a few materials and a limited colour palette.
Based on the style and colour palette of Katsushika Hokusai, this set includes:
- 2 Clean Colour brush pens in the colours peacock blue and dull blue
- 4 naps Gansai Tambi watercolours in the colours Cadmium Scarlet, Yellow Ochre, Viridian, and Raw Umber Deep.
- 1 water brush
- 1 palette
- 2 sample cards and one blank card
The set is inspired by Katsushika Hokusai's "Thirty-six Views of Montain. This is not a well-known work of art in Europe, but fans of Japanese art will certainly recognise this mountain.
Katsushika Hokusai was a Japanese printmaker, painter and draughtsman in the 18th century. He was mainly into woodcut prints, better known as ukiyo-e. Hokusai became especially famous for his landscape depictions.
