Talens gesso transparant 120 ml

Talens gesso transparant 120 ml

Talens Transparent Gesso 120 ml

Talens Transparent Gesso 120 ml Talens Transparent Gesso is a universal primer that prepares your surface and ensures good paint adhesion. Once dry, it creates an absorbent surface suitable for acrylic, oil and tempera paints. The advantage of transparent gesso is that the texture or colour of the surface remains visible, whilst you still benefit from the properties of gesso.

Use the gesso undiluted to preserve the surface, or mix it with acrylic paint to keep the colour virtually identical to that of the paint straight from the tube, whilst providing extra adhesion and durability. The transparent gesso also combines well with the white and black varieties to create different effects.

Properties:

• ensures good adhesion for oil, acrylic and tempera paints
• suitable for absorbent, dust- and grease-free surfaces such as canvas, wood, card, paper, linen, cotton, plywood and hardboard
• can also be used as a primer for murals on concrete, stucco and brick
• can be mixed with other Amsterdam gessos and coloured with acrylic paint
• dilutable with water; water-resistant once dry
• drying time: a few hours; can be painted over with oil paint after 24 hours
• clean with water
• apply at temperatures above 10°C and store frost-free
