Workshop Sunset Landscape with city lights in aquarel door Yana Ivannikova op zaterdag 1 november

Het onderwerp van deze workshop is een landschap met een zonsondergang, waarbij de details kunnen verschillen: in de ochtendworkshop verschijnt een skyline op horizon, in de middagworkshop dobbert er een bootje op de golven . In deze workshop leer je nat-in-nat technieken met zachte overgangen, voor de lucht en het water, en daarnaast het vereenvoudiging van vormen en het aanbrengen van details en schaduwen

In deze workshop maak je kennis met de fijne Rosa aquarelverf. Yana is kunstenaar en een ervaren docent en komt, net als Rosa, uit Ukraine.  De workshop duurt een halve dag en Yana geeft les in het Nederlands. Ze begeleidt je stap voor stap, en leert je de technieken die je nodig hebt voor zachte overgangen in de achtergrond, het werken in lagen voor de lucht en het water, en voor de skyline en het bootje: de balans tussen losheid en detaillering.

Omdat we met kleine groepen werken kan Yana individueel begeleiden en is de workshop geschikt voor zowel beginners als gevorderden.

De prijs voor deze workshop is inclusief materiaalgebruik en kofie/thee

De workshop duurt een een halve dag ,en wordt zowel ochtends (10 tot 12.30 uur) als 's middags (13.30 tot 16 uur) gegeven. 

Locatie van deze workshop is ons atelier in Ammerstol.

De workshop dient vooruit betaald te worden. Als de betaling van de workshop gecombineerd wordt met een bestelling van artikelen, telt de prijs van de workshop niet mee voor het verzendkostenvrije bedrag. 

Bij afmelding binnen 14 dagen voor aanvang van de workshop wordt 50% van het cursusgeld terugbetaald, m.u.v. hele acute situaties.

Er is in deze workshop plaats voor 4-9 deelnemers.

Workshop Sunset Landscape; General information

In this workshop, you will be introduced to the fine Rosa watercolour paint. Yana is an artist and an experienced teacher and, like Rosa, comes from Ukraine. The workshop lasts half a day and Yana teaches in Dutch. She guides you step by step and teaches you the techniques you need for soft transitions in the background, working in layers for the sky and water, and for the skyline and the boat: the balance between looseness and detail.

Because we work with small groups, Yana can provide individual guidance, and the workshop is suitable for both beginners and advanced students.

The price for this workshop includes materials and coffee/tea.

The workshop lasts half a day.

The location of this workshop is our studio in Ammerstol.

The workshop must be paid for in advance. If payment for the workshop is combined with an order for items, the price of the workshop does not count towards the free shipping amount. 

If you cancel within 14 days before the start of the workshop, 50% of the course fee will be refunded, except in very urgent situations.

In this workshop we will learn  how to show the warm glow of a sunset using the wet-on-wet technique, we keep the focus on smooth transitions in the sky and the sea. 

The highlight of this workshop is learning how to suggest a faraway cityscape with glowing lights without overworking.

Watercolor Workshop Sunset Landscape with the Boat Saturday November 1st

Wet-on-wet sunset with sky, sea and a silhouetted boat.

We will learn wet-on-wet techniques for painting the sky and the sea, blending warm and cool hues and preserving areas for the sun to increase the contrast.

The highlight of this workshop is learning how to suggest a silhouetted boat, simplifying its complex form.
