Het BAMBOO aquarelpapier van Clairefontaine bestaat voor 100% uit snelgroeiend en duurzaam bamboo. Het heeft een warme, ivoorwitte kleur en een bijzondere, zijdezachtige touch. De delicate, fijne korrel zorgt voor een uitstekende kleurabsorptie. Tegelijkertijd is het door de lange vezels van het bamboo, het hogere gramsgewicht van 250 g/m² en de uitstekende verlijming — het is oppervlaktegelijmd én in de stof gelijmd — verrassend sterk. Je kunt makkelijk correcties aanbrengen, zonder het papier te beschadigen.

Dit papier is perfect voor nat-in-nat technieken en verwassingen met aquarel, gouache, acrylverf en caseïne. Maar het accepteert ook probleemloos inkt, grafiet, houtskool en krijt en leent zich voor allerlei mixed-media technieken.

Made in Holland — dit Clairefontaine bamboo aquarelpapier wordt gemaakt door papierfabriek Schut in Heelsum op de Veluwe. Schut maakt al papier sinds 1618! Schut is sinds enkele jaren onderdeel van het Clairefontaine concern

Clairefontaine's BAMBOO watercolour paper consists of 100% fast-growing and sustainable bamboo. It has a warm, ivory-white colour and a special, silky touch. Its delicate, fine grain ensures excellent colour absorption. At the same time, the bamboo's long fibres, the higher grammage of 250 g/m² and the excellent bonding - it is surface-glued as well as glued into the fabric - make it surprisingly strong. You can easily make corrections without damaging the paper.

This paper is perfect for wet-on-wet techniques and washes with watercolour, gouache, acrylic colours and casein. But it also readily accepts ink, graphite, charcoal and chalk and lends itself to all kinds of mixed-media techniques.
