All aspects of drawing with pencil are reviewed: you learn to recognize shapes, set basic lines, enlarge, imitate structures, work with light and dark, the correct hand posture and drawing lines with pencil. You follow various exercises to improve your technique and work on projects from start to finish to practice your skills with graphite pencil, colored pencil, pastel pencil and charcoal. The level of difficulty varies and builds up as you progress through the book, so even the experienced artist will learn new things!
