Schmincke pastels zijn superzachte en smeuige kunstenaarspastels zijn gemaakt van de beste hoogwaardige kunstenaars pigmenten met minimale hoeveelheid bindmiddelen.
De buitengewoon zachte- en kleurkrachtige Schmincke pastels worden gemaakt volgens een traditioneel, bewerkelijk proces, maar ook gebeurt de etikettering per hand. Het complete assortiment, dat alle kleurnuances dekt, omvat 400 tinten waaronder 5 speciale tinten met parelmoereffect.
Op de kleurenkaarten staan onder elke kleur een aantal sterretjes om de lichtechtheid weer te geven.
De gehele serie pastels bestaat uit 80 kleuren, met ieder 5 nuances: de volle kleur (D), bijmenging met zwart (B), en 3 bijmengingen met wit (H,M en O)

These super-soft, creamy artist pastels are made from the best high-quality artist pigments with minimum share of binders.
The exceptionally soft and colourful Schmincke pastels (Ø approx. 12 mm, approx. 65 mm long) are made using a traditional, laborious process, but labelling is also done by hand. The complete range, covering all colour shades, comprises 400 shades including 5 special shades with pearlescent effect.
The colour cards show a number of asterisks under each colour to indicate lightfastness.
The entire series of pastels consists of 80 colours, each with 5 nuances: the full colour (D), blending with black (B), and 3 blends with white (H,M and O)
