Deze set van Faber Castell komt met 4 pitt matt grafiet potloden, een puntenslijper en een Dust-Free gum. 

Het Faber Castell MATT grafietpotlood per stuk is een extreem mat grafietpotlood van de allerhoogste kunstenaarskwaliteit. Dit is een doorbraak op het gebied van tekenmateriaal en werd tot nu toe niet voor mogelijk gehouden.

Het grote voordeel hiervan is dat kunstenaars en illustratoren nu werk kunnen produceren dat geen hinderlijke weerglans heeft. Dit is belangrijk als je werk fotografeert of tentoostelt maar ook als je het moet scannen voor publicatie off- en online. De samenstelling van deze potloden is geheim en beschermd door een octrooi. Door individuele componenten tijdens het fabricageproces aan te passen is Faber Castell erin geslaagd de glans uit het grafiet te halen zonder de toonwaarden te veranderen.

Net als de Castell 9000 grafietpotloden heeft de Grafiet MATT altijd de hoogste lichtechtheid, aangezien de anorganische pigmenten grafiet en roet een extreem hoge lichteichtheid hebben. De grafietstift in het potlood is lichtecht, extra breukresistent en heeft een kerndikte van 3,3 mm. De productie van grafietpotlood Pitt mat is milieuvriendelijk want het is uit gecertificeerd FSC hout en Carbon neutraal geproduceerd. Verder bevatten de potloden milieuvriendelijke lak op waterbasis.

Het is ideaal voor schrijven, tekenen, schetsen en bijzonder geschikt voor monochroom grafietwerk vanwege de verminderde reflectie op papier en zijn hoge dichtheid die een maximaal diepte-effect geeft.

The graphite lead in the pencil is lightfast, extra break-resistant and has a core thickness of 3.3 mm. The production of graphite pencil Pitt matt is environmentally friendly as it is made from certified FSC wood and Carbon neutral. Furthermore, the pencils contain environmentally friendly water-based lacquer.
